Shangri La is going to be the first gaming institution in Georgia to
realize the Responsible Gaming program. The management company of Shangri
La Tbilisi, Storm International, announced that the Responsible Gaming
program is to be implemented at the casino on a par with the company's
operations around the world.
The Responsible Gaming program, implemented at all Storm's properties,
includes strict age limit of 21 to enter the casino floor, corresponding
informational leaflets distribution at the gaming areas, proper
consultations of those players who show the signs of addiction and
voluntary blacklisting of addictive gamblers.
Darren Keane, CEO of Storm International, personally announced the launch
of the program during his meeting with the management of the gaming
facility and at the recent press conference, devoted to the launch of the
program. He commented on his decision: 'Our company has always following

the corresponding attitude to potential risks of excessive gambling. We
want our guests to have fun and enjoy themselves while spending time at our
properties. But there is a minority of people who cannot control their
