Omnicare Holds Annual Stockholders' Meeting

CINCINNATI, May 22, 2013 - Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE:OCR), today held its Annual
Meeting of Stockholders.
At the meeting, Omnicare stockholders elected the nine directors who stood for
election to the Company's Board of Directors to serve until the 2014 Annual
Meeting or until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified.
Also during the meeting, Omnicare stockholders ratified the appointment of
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm
for the Company for 2013.
In a separate non-binding advisory vote, shareholders approved the compensation
paid to Omnicare's named executive officers.
