Introducing the GefenPro 8x8 DVI KVM Dual Link Matrix
(PresseBox) - A NEW 8x8 KVM-Matrix from the Gefen PRO series is now available at the signal management specialists, Gefen.
The GefenPRO 8x8 DVI KVM Dual-Link Matrix (GEF-DVIKVM-848DL) can connect up to 8 work stations with DVI-, USB or Audio sources. The Dual Link Matrix supports resolutions up to 3840x2400 pixels.
The matrix comes with an internal Power Supply, 24/7 Support, EDID Management, and all needed DVI, USB and Audio connection cables. The System is controlled over an IP supported web interface, RS232, IR remote or Front panel control. The status of the Matrix can be read thru the web interface and on a LCD display located on the front.
The installation process for the Matrix is fairly simple; up to 8 operating systems (MAC/PC) can be connected to the GefenPRO 8x8 DVI KVM Matrix with the provided DVI, USB and audio cables.
Up to 8 monitors either or Projectors can be connected through the DVI outputs on the box.
Gefen will also offer a 10x4 and an 8x8 DVI Dual Link with the Gefen Pro Series.

The GefenPRO 8x8 DVI KVM Dual Link Matrix is available at Gefen Distribution. The recommended price by the manufacturer is a total of 5795,- EUR plus VAT.
