SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH trainee is best apprentice in Lower Saxony
Johannes Kühn was awarded first place in Lower Saxony yesterday for his outstanding performance in his final examinations for the trade of precision optician.
(PresseBox) - Since 1986, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has presented the award to the best apprentices within the different regional associations. Johannes Kühn, who this year completed his training at Schneider-Kreuznach Isco Division (SKI) in Göttingen, earned the title ?Best Apprentice in Precision Optics 2010?. He beat all other prospective fine opticians in the final examination. ?We are delighted about this award from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It shows that we provide our trainees with excellent learning conditions,? says Werner Bayer, head of training at Schneider-Kreuznach.
Since completing his apprenticeship in Göttingen, Johannes Kühn has been working in the optical manufacturing department in Bad Kreuznach. ?Mr. Kühn shows considerable potential and would make a valuable contribution to production technology at SKI as an engineer,? claims Siegfried Fitzl, Managing Director of the Schneider Group, of his former apprentice.
The award ceremony took place on 9 November at 11 a.m. in the GOP Varieté Theater in Hanover.
