The system, which currently holds the highest 40G port density in the Network Monitoring Switch market, is built with 30 ports of 40-Gigabit Fiber (QSFP) and 8 ports of 10-Gigabit Fiber (SFP+, SFP) and complements the PacketMaster family, enabling filtering, mirroring, sophisticated session-based traffic distribution and aggregation. The combination of 40Gb and 10Gb ports enables datacenters, telcos and MSOs smoother transition to 40Gb networks while preserving existing 10Gb or 1Gb monitoring tools such as IPS, IDS, Wan Acceleration Systems, DPI systems and Data Loss Prevention among others. Niagara 4330-8X possesses a full-featured software suite that can be managed remotely and a sophisticated WEB GUI to enable easy and full control, intuitive "point and click" and "drag and drop" port and filter configuration and statistics retrieval.
