Federal and Web Surplus modules to help streamline the Idaho Federal Surplus Property Program


(firmenpresse) - CALDWELL, IDAHO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/30/13 -- AssetWorks Inc., a leading provider of solutions, today announced that the Idaho Department of Administration has signed a contract for a surplus management software solution from AssetWorks. The solution includes comprehensive functionality to meet the needs of the for State Agencies for Surplus Property (SASP).

"We have a lot of the right pieces in place," said James Hollis, Business Manager, Idaho Federal Surplus Property Program. "We expect AssetWorks' solution to complement the work we already do by automating more aspects of our Federal Surplus Property Program."

The Federal Surplus module can be used by the Idaho Federal Surplus Property Program to automate the donee registration and recertification process. It also includes integrated Form 123 and Form 30/40 processing as well as over 30 standard reports. By interfacing to GSAXcess, Surplus Management Software from AssetWorks can automatically transfer data associated with allocated federal property.

In addition, the Idaho Federal Surplus Property Program can rely on AssetWorks' Web Surplus module to allow eligible organizations to view the contents of the surplus warehouse online. The integrated solution can help the division save time and improve accuracy by minimizing data re-entry, providing seamless access to data, and maximizing transaction efficiency.

The Idaho Federal Surplus Property Program is responsible for transferring, warehousing, and distributing Federal Surplus Property within the State of Idaho. The program is administered by the Idaho Department of Administration.
