RIB Group USA and a Joint Venture among the Top 10 Famous American
Architectural Firm and a world leading US based engineering company with
more than 50,000 employees have agreed this week to use iTWO 5D end to end
solution as the Total Cost Management platform for a>1 Billion USD
hospital project in the US. The combined IT and professional service deal
(>500,000 USD / Phase II) will be completed within the next 24 months.
Based on BIM data, iTWO 5D end to end technology will be used for
model-based quantification, cost estimation, cost/resource integration,
clash detection, constructability, construction simulation, and design cost
control management functions.
The>1 Billion US Capex project is the first iTWO utilization in America
as integral part of the design process.
Thomas Wolf, the CEO of RIB Group Stuttgart Germany, 'our target is to
develop an iTWO 5D end to end technology success case and reference project
for the American market and to offer our iTWO software and consulting
services to the Top 100 American Architectural and Engineering Groups. We
are targeting to sign more iTWO deals (>500,000 USD / Phase II size) to
support Mega-Projects (Capex>1 Billion USD) in America. We want to
introduce our iTWO 5D end to end technology as a leading global standard
solution.'
The world's biggest construction market (US) is growing and will reach a
size of 1-1.5 Trillion USD by 2020 (10-15% of the GDP). By 2020 up to 80%
of the Top 1000 American construction projects will use the new 5D end to
end software category, which RIB Group calls iTWO Technology.
