MBB Fertigungstechnik establishes subsidiary in China

Berlin, 4 June 2013 - MBB Industries AG (ISIN DE000A0ETBQ4), a
family-owned, medium-sized corporation, plans to significantly expand its
subsidiary MBB Fertigungstechnik GmbH's business in China. For this
purpose, the subsidiary MBB Technologies (China) Ltd. is to be established
in Changzhou, a large metropolitan city in Eastern China. The company is
expected to start operations already this year and will expand to around 40
employees in the coming year.
As one of the leading international mechanical engineering firms
specialising in welding and assembly systems for the automotive industry,
MBB Fertigungstechnik already generates around 20% of its revenues in
China. Its customer base includes renowned German automotive manufacturers
as well as Chinese companies. In establishing local production, MBB
Fertigungstechnik wishes to better take advantage of the growth potential
the region offers due to automation requirements, while also expanding its
service business. The expansion in China is therefore also expected to
bring additional growth for the German location, where high-end products
will still be manufactured. MBB Fertigungstechnik expects further business
performance to be correspondingly positive.
