Ashburton Files for Drill Permits on Zetu and Nerok Claims in the Iskut Cu-Au District, British Columbia

(TSX VENTURE: ABR)(FRANKFURT: ARB) ("Ashburton" or the "Company") has filed for drill permits on its mineral tenures located near the Colorado Resources Ltd. North Rok property, in the Iskut copper-gold district. The Iskut district is located in northwestern British Columbia and has seen significant exploration activity since the announcement by Colorado Resources of a drill hole intercept averaging 0.5% Cu and 0.67 g/t Au over 333 meters (see Colorado Resources news release, April 25th,2013). Most recently, Victory Ventures, Inc. announced plans for a five-hole drill program centered on a geophysical anomaly defined by IP chargeability (see Victory Ventures news release, June 3rd, 2013). IP geophysics has played a significant role in identifying drill targets in the Iskut district.
The 100%-owned Zetu claims adjoin the northern border of the North Rok property, and the Nerock tenure is positioned roughly six kilometers north-northwest along the highway from the Colorado Resources discovery. The tenures total 1,500 hectares and have monzonite and volcanic lithologies that are similar to those presently being drilled at North Rok (B.C. Minfile Report 21760, 1992). Drilling is anticipated to take place after generation of drill targets through mapping, sampling and IP geophysics.
The technical contents of this release were approved by Dr. Tom E. McCandless, P. Geo., Vice President of Ashburton Ventures and qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The property has not been the subject of a National Instrument 43-101 report, and Dr. McCandless has not verified the technical data disclosed in this release.
