ELMED Messtechnik GmbH, an internationally-operating manufacturer of holiday detectors launches the new high-voltage voltmeter ISOTEST HV.
(firmenpresse) - The handy and robust, battery-powered measuring instrument allows the precise measurement of the impulse test voltages of the ISOTEST® holiday detectors – even under harsh conditions on-site. Not only the portable ISOTEST® holiday detectors but also the stationary ISO-Automat and the ISOTEST act can be tested according to the applicable rules and standards.
The measuring range of the impulse voltage goes from 5 to 35 kV with the measuring result (precise to 0,1 kV) being displayed on the front panel.
The new ISOTEST HV has a PTB-traceable calibration, which is recognised by all accredited certification bodies.
Background information:
Every year significant damage such as leakage, downtime and costly rehabilitation works is globally caused by corrosion.
A basic prerequisite for a long-lasting corrosion protection are high-quality corrosion protection materials and the testing of coated surfaces with the ISOTEST holiday detector. Porosity testing using impulse high voltage assures that even for the highest standards and under the harsh conditions on construction site no identifiable pores or voids are overlooked.
The new portable high-voltage voltmeter ISOTEST HV allows the testing of the test voltages, stipulated in the applicable rules and standards, even under the conditions on-site and thus provides optimum safety in the context of passive corrosion protection.
