Oberkirch, June 6, 2013 - Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG was awarded the World
Excellence Award 2012 in silver for its outstanding performance by its
customer the FORD Motor Company (Dearborn, USA). Thus, PWO belongs to the
top 10 percent of Ford's global suppliers who had qualified for the award.
This award recognizes the achievements of PWO - particularly in the areas
of quality, cost, and delivery reliability - in supplying FORD with cross
members in Europe and North America.
Karl M. Schmidhuber, Chairman of the Management Board is pleased with this
award: 'It is a distinctive achievement to fully satisfy the requirements
of such a complex and large contract. We thank Ford for their trust in PWO
