Kontron AG announces new Global Head of Sales&Marketing

Eching near Munich, June 6, 2013 - Kontron AG, globally leading provider of
Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), is pleased to announce the appointment
of Michael Väth (52) to Global Head of Sales&Marketing. He brings with
him a wealth of experience in managing large, international organizations,
having most recently served as General Manager EMEA and as Head of Global
Business Innovation for Hitachi Data Systems. Prior to that, he held senior
management roles at Storagetek, NCR and other global IT companies. Michael
is taking over from Thomas Sparrvik, who will support him during the
transition period before leaving the company at the end of the month.

The transformation of Sales&Marketing is a central part of Kontron's new

set itself by 2016.
