Silicon Legal Strategy Hires Dan Wu
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/07/13 -- Silicon Legal Strategy today announced the addition of Dan Wu as a senior associate in its Santa Monica office, marking the firm's fifth strategic hire in 2013.
Dan brings extensive experience advising technology startups, entrepreneurs and angel investors in venture capital financings and M&A transactions to the rapidly-growing team at SLS. He provides SLS clients with day-to-day counseling across the range of corporate and securities matters facing emerging growth companies.
Before joining Silicon Legal, Dan practiced at the Los Angeles office of Silicon Valley boutique law firm Fortis General Counsel, LLP, where he advised emerging technology companies and investors in connection with venture capital financings and M&A transactions.
Dan began his career in the corporate department at O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, where he represented large institutional and Fortune 500 companies in debt and equity financings, initial public offerings and M&A transactions.
Dan received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, B.A., magna cum laude, from Claremont McKenna College, and M.B.A. from Insead.
