Verde Media Group, Inc. Announces Olympic Potential for Rugby Documentary
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/13 -- Verde Media Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VMGI) has announced a new development in its documentary project of the Northeastern University Rugby team. NU Rugby athletes Dmitri Efthimiou, Chris Frazier, Diego Maquieira and Aaron Reich have been invited to attend The Northeast Olympic Development Academy. The Academy has offered Verde Media access to their Olympic training sessions, setting the stage to follow the team's best members to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Verde Media began shooting a documentary on the NU Rugby team when they qualified for the Collegiate Rugby Championships at the USA 7's tournament in Philadelphia on May 31 of this year. It was the first time in the team's history that they'd qualified and the team took home the Bowl Division title. Last week, Dmitri Efthimiou became the first NU Rugby player to be selected for the All-CRC team and further given the chance to advance through The Northeast Olympic Development Academy while adding three more of his teammates, further expanding the story arc of Verde Media's documentary and setting the stage for the further involvement with the NE Olympic Development Academy.
