Horgen, June 10, 2013 - On June 9, 2013, the population of Neuhausen voted on
the partial revision of the zoning plan and planning code for the Rhytech site
owned by Schweiter Technologies. As these proposed changes were approved, the
site - located in the industrial zone - will be transformed into a mixed-use
area incorporating residences, offices, and commercial and sales premises.
The rezoning creates the necessary planning basis for implementing the project
by Peter Märkli from Zurich, who was the winner of a study commissioned by the
municipality of Neuhausen, Schweiter Technologies and Halter Entwicklungen.
The planning work for the necessary approval procedures will commence
immediately. The construction project will be submitted in the first quarter of
2014, and the redevelopment is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
