December 9, 2010 - Terra Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:TAS, “Terra” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has amended its previously announced private placement on December 1, 2010, by increasing the agents’ option to increase the unit offering by up to a total of $1,000,000 at $0.50 per unit in the event the placement is over-subscribed, each unit consisting of one share and one-half of one transferable warrant, each whole warrant entitling the holder to purchase one common share for a period of 18 months after closing at an exercise price of $0.70. If the unit offering is fully subscribed and the over-allotment option is fully exercised, an aggregate 4,000,000 units will be issued.
