Change of owner at alesco: Green strategy will continue and investments are planned in the field of high-quality consumer and industrial films
Langerwehe, Germany, December 2010. Michael Leiterholt is the name of the new majority shareholder in the Langerwehe-based packaging film manufacturer alesco (http://www.alesco.net): The former joint owners, Gunter Depiereux and Philipp Depiereux, have transferred all their shares to Leiterholt, who has more than 20 years of experience in the plastics processing and packaging industry. The company’s environmentally friendly strategy will be continued and the high-quality consumer and industrial film sector will be expanded considerably. All parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

(firmenpresse) - The new majority shareholder would like to develop alesco strategically and make it a leading processor of high-quality consumer and industrial films. Numerous investments are planned to achieve this objective, some of which have already been initiated. The new owner will be supported in this task by the managing directors, Karl-Heinz Thielen and Heinz Mundt.
The company’s green strategy will also be continued. “The conservation of resources and use of sustainable working procedures are major elements in our future development,” is what the new owner, Michael Leiterholt, has to say about the strategic direction of the company after the takeover. The former joint owner, Philipp Depiereux, will continue to act as a consultant to alesco. Gunter Depiereux already retired from the management team in the spring.
