Hamid, who is featured in the June issue, has made it his mission to remove functional verification as the bottleneck for technological innovation. He is defining and building a new verification category known as SoC verification.
Under Hamid's leadership, Breker is transforming the embedded industry with an innovative solution called TrekSoC™, automatic generator of self-verifying C test cases to solve complex verification challenges for SoCs containing embedded processors. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in functional verification automation, Hamid's experience includes leading an AMD verification team and serving as a verification expert, working with companies such as Texas Instruments, Siemens/Infineon and Motorola/Freescale. He graduated from Princeton University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and holds an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
