Senior women's team relocates to new base in Edmonton
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/13 -- Join Edmonton Mayor Stephen Mandel and Basketball Alberta Executive Director Paul Sir as the city welcomes and introduces Canada Basketball and Canada's senior women's basketball team as the team relocates to its new home in Edmonton.
Date: Thursday, June 27
Place: Saville Community Sports Centre, 11610 65 Avenue
Time: 10 to 10:30 am
Program includes team introduction, memento exchange between Mayor Mandel and the basketball team, and remarks by Mayor Mandel, Canada Basketball and University of Alberta representatives. Team members and coach Lisa Thomaidis will be available for interviews.
