REMINDER/Media Advisory: Minister Shea to Make Announcement Regarding New Requirements for Canadian Taxpayers With Offshore Assets

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/13 -- On Tuesday, June 25, 2013 the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of National Revenue and Minister for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency will make an announcement regarding new requirements for Canadian taxpayers with offshore assets. Following the announcement, Minister Shea will meet with members of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada to discuss tax issues including how best to combat international tax evasion and aggressive tax avoidance.

The roundtable is closed to media; however, Minister Shea will be available for media opportunities prior to the meeting.
