If P&C Insurance Company completed the cooperation procedure
If P&C Insurance Company Ltd (Finland), a company belonging to Sampo Group, has
completed the cooperation procedure, which began on 8 May 2013. As a result of
the procedure, the number of employees will decrease by 26. Dismissals were
avoided in the process.
The cooperation procedure followed the acquisition of the insurance business of
the Finnish branch of Tryg Forskring A/S and it involved 60 employees. Sampo plc
disclosed the agreement between If P&C Insurance Company Ltd and Tryg Forsikring
A/S on 6 November 2012 and the beginning of the cooperation procedure on 2 May
2013.
