iPass Appoints Karen Willem as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Most recently, Ms. Willem was CFO of Xsigo Systems (which was purchased by Oracle), a leading provider of network virtualization technology. Before her role as CFO of Xsigo, Ms. Willem was CFO and EVP of Openwave Systems (now Unwired Planet). Previously, she served as EVP and CFO of Cassatt Corporation, a utility computing software company she co-founded. She also served as CFO and senior vice president of Brio Software (now Oracle), where she led a highly successful IPO and subsequent merger with Sqribe Technologies. Ms. Willem's other leadership roles have included president and CEO of Viewcentral, and executive sales and finance positions at Network General Corp., Gupta Inc., Avantek, Inc. (now Agilent), and Ford Motor Company. She holds a BS degree from Bucknell University and a MBA from University of Pittsburgh.
