UK International Callers Could Save GBP 203 Million on International Calls by Switching to giffgaff

2.48 billion International mobile minutes were used in Britain in 2012, costing consumers an estimated GBP 352 million. However, with international minutes costing on average 6p per minute with giffgaff, the same number of minutes would have totalled just GBP 148 million - a saving of GBP 203 million per year.
In addition, as communication technologies have continued to improve, the volume of international traffic has doubled since 2006. With this in mind, giffgaff will be looking to service this need by offering excellent value calling to at least the top 50 international destinations from the UK. These significantly reduced tariffs will be rolled out on all of their SIM- cards and will be available to all members.

The new international pricing structure at giffgaff will enable their members to make more regular international calls on their mobile phones.
