Long-planned management changeover at PEACHES AG on July 1, 2013
Reinhold M. Sigler has been appointed as sole Member of the Management
Board of PEACHES AG in Wiesbaden in addition to his duties as sole Managing
Director of Peaches Group (PEACHES Mobile GmbH, PEACHES Systems GmbH, REA
Mobile GmbH and PEACHES Mobile Ltd.).
Mr. Sigler started working for the Wiesbaden-based group in December 2011
when he undertook an analysis of its member companies. In February 2012, he
then assumed responsibility as Managing Director for the large-scale
restructuring and realignment of PEACHES Mobile GmbH, PEACHES Systems GmbH
and REA Mobile GmbH. After the conclusion of operational measures, he has
now been assigned control of all companies with immediate effect and is
pressing ahead with the process of internationalization that has been
initiated.
'Over the past 15 months, we have successfully launched our new business
focus of prepaid services via apps, mobile web and internet as a white
label co-branded solution. In addition to Isoptera, our technological
platform for prepaid services that was developed 100% in-house, we will
also sustain our activities in the field of mobile payments. I am looking
forward to working with a strong team and experienced SVPs on strengthening
the impressive position Peaches Group has established for itself
worldwide,' says Mr. Sigler.
About the PEACHES GROUP:
The core competencies of the Peaches Group can be divided into two
different segments: Payments&Prepaid Services.
The group has real-world experience in the field of mobile payments and
positions itself as a mobile payment acquirer featuring an in-house mobile
payment platform. Peaches also acts as a reseller (PSP, payment service
provider) for the mpass mobile payment service of Telekom, Vodafone and O2.
The Peaches Group also provides prepaid top-up services. The
Wiesbaden-based group of companies also runs an in-house prepaid service
platform under the prelado prepaid anytime&anywhere brand, which offers
users a real-time mobile telephone top-up service that can be accessed via
app, the mobile web, and the internet. A free, provider-neutral prepaid
current balance display is also available via an app (Android&iOS). This
prepaid service is available from PEACHES Mobile GmbH as a white label
solution for interested partners. The full-service offering, including
airtime, payment processing, and a payment guarantee, is run wholly in the
partner's CI/CD.
The Peaches Group includes PEACHES Systems GmbH, PEACHES Mobile GmbH REA
MOBILE GmbH and PEACHES Mobile Ltd., which are subsidiaries of PEACHES AG.
