German-based SorTech AG selects Norbert Philipp as CEO
(PresseBox) - SorTech AG, a cutting-edge technology leader in the area of energy efficient adsorption cooling aggregates which are also environmentally friendly, continues to expand. In order to swiftly implement its global expansion strategy, SorTech AG founder Walter Mittelbach and its new Chief Executive Officer, Norbert Philipp, will work closely together.
Norbert Philipp, 48, assumed the role of CEO of SorTech AG on June 1, 2013. Mr. Phillip possesses more than 20 years of global leadership experience in the renewable energy sector as well as the heating, air-conditioning and sanitation industry. Until 2012, Mr. Philipp had been the CEO of MAGE SOLAR AG, a company that he had accompanied from its inception in 2007. His proven track record of successfully implementing carefully structured global expansion strategies has been widely recognized.

Cold is not generated with electric power but low-temperature excess heat and thus curbs both operating costs and worldwide CO2 emissions.
Adsorption chillers ? in combination with solar-thermal systems, local and district heating station, CHPs and industrial waste heat ? are ideally suited for cooling, technical processes as well as single- and multi-family dwellings. More than 400 SorTech aggregates are already operational worldwide.
