First office space in Düsseldorf’s Le Quartier Central let off-plan
HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung is realizing the first office project at Le Quartier Central — VivaKi secures a good 12,000 square meters
Office building in Düsseldorf’s Le Quarter Central (firmenpresse) - HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung has let over 12,000 square meters of space to the VivaKi Group, Saatchi & Saatchi and Re:Sources, companies belonging to the French Publicis Group, at the first office building in Düsseldorf’s Le Quarter Central development. This means that a good 90 percent of the total rental space of around 13,400 square meters has already been let off-plan.
The office building, which has a 21,000 square meter gross floor area and 215 underground parking slots, is due for completion by the end of 2012 at the southeast end of Le Quartier Central. HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung purchased the 3,800 square meter lot on the future Toulouser Allee at the end of 2010 from aurelis Real Estate.
VivaKi’s various agencies, which to date are spread around different buildings in Düsseldorf, will be brought together in this six-story property. Apart from the VivaKi holding company, other tenants moving in to the new building at the end of 2012 include the media agencies Optimedia and Zenithmedia, as well as subsidiaries Zed digital and Newcast. Other tenants are the creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi as well as Re:Sources as a shared service center.
The office building is designed to meet the sustainability criteria of the German Council for Sustainable Building (DGNB), with HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung aiming for at least Silver certification.
