Git-Client SmartGit/Hg 4.6 now supports Git-Flow(firmenpresse) - Version 4.6 of the popular Git- and Mercurial-Client SmartGit/Hg provides support for Git-Flow, a set of high-level repository operations for a successful branching model. All common Git-Flow commands can be directly invoked from within SmartGit/Hg: starting and finishing a feature, a release and a hotfix and forking a support (maintenance) branch. The "Branches" view shows additional categories for Git-Flow branches and the "Outgoing" view displays all commits of the current feature or hotfix, and allows to reorder, join and otherwise clean them.

SmartGit/Hg is one of the world"s most popular version control system clients and is used by more than 100.000 IT professionals. SmartGit/Hg works on all major operating systems and provides support for the version control systems Git and Mercurial.
