Alexander Energy Ltd. Appoints Chief Operating Officer

(TSX VENTURE: ALX) ("Alexander" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Peshke P.Eng. as Chief Operating Officer ("COO") of Alexander, replacing David Oginski, P. Eng., who resigned effective July 2, 2013, to pursue other business interests. David Oginski has been the COO of Alexander since the fall of 2012. The board of directors wishes to thank Mr. Oginski for his tenure with Alexander and wish him well in his future endeavours.
Ron Peshke has 15 years of oil & gas industry experience, primarily in production and exploitation engineering, with various Calgary-based public and private oil and gas companies operating in throughout Western Canada. Mr. Peshke earned a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering) at the University of Calgary.
