Sage Gold Inc. Announces Extension of Private Placement

("Sage" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SGX) Further to its press releases dated April 30, 2013 and May 23, 2013, Sage announced today that it has agreed to extend the closing date of the second tranche of a previously announced private placement, initially set to close on July 10, 2013, to Friday July 19, 2013 or earlier. "The financing is progressing well and the Company requires additional time to finalize the deal given the nature of the type of transaction and the period of the year" said Nigel Lees, President & CEO of Sage.
