Kontron AG hires new Head of Industrials

Eching near Munich, 11 July 2013 - Kontron AG, a leading global provider of
Embedded Computer Technology (ECT), has hired Marcel van Helten (47) as new
head of its business unit Industrials. Marcel van Helten joins Kontron from
General Electric where he has gained significant experience over the last
15 years, holding international posts within several divisions. These
include Global Director Infrastructure, Marketing Director Greater China
and, most recently, General Manager of the business unit GE Intelligent
Platforms GmbH&Co. KG. Marcel van Helten will take over as of September
1st, 2013 his position from Dr. Martin Zurek, who is leaving Kontron AG by
mutual consent.
