Hess GmbH with pleasing order situation

The business proceedings of Hess GmbH Licht + Form, an international
leading manufacturer of attractive outdoor lighting and street and site
furnishings, continue to gain momentum. The incoming orders of the past few
weeks sustainably support the positive development of the company.
Accordingly satisfied is Managing Director Andreas R. Budde: 'The latest
incoming orders, nationally and internationally, show that great trust is
placed in Hess and that the acceptance of the measures taken is very high'.
Jürgen Duffner, Hess Sales Manager for the German market, is
correspondingly optimistic: 'The reluctance of customers to invest is a
thing of the past, the breakthrough is approaching'. That national
customers increasingly rely again on Hess products is impressively
demonstrated by the incoming orders of the past weeks. Duffner wants to
emphasise the order of the city of Schwäbisch-Gmünd. Here, luminaires of
the type 'City Elements' were ordered for the State Garden Show 2014.
'Beyond the order itself, the State Garden Show is naturally an excellent
reference project in terms of visibility', says Duffner.
The international business also develops highly encouraging. In this
connection, two projects are to be mentioned specifically. Luminaires of
Hess contribute to improve the lighting situation and the premium overall
appearance in the 'Marina Bay Sands' shopping mall. The resort is generally
considered as the most expensive casino site in the world.
Furthermore, a first order of the KOTAK Mahindra Bank in Mumbai, India,
could be concluded. Hess products are to set the scene of the company
headquarters by way of a complete restoration considering special lighting
requirements. By successfully realising the first construction phase, Hess
can expect further commissioning. 'Wherever luminous efficacy and energy
efficiency is expected and high demands for design and quality are made at
the same time, one has to consider our products', notes Andrew Pluntke,
Sales Manager Hess International, and adds: 'These requirements bring the
particular strengths of Hess, namely the manufacturing of high quality and
decorative luminaires, to bear.'
