Canadian National Stock Exchange Announces New Listing Fee Discount 60% Saving for Companies Listed in Canada
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/13 -- CNSX Markets Inc. (operator of the Canadian National Stock Exchange or "CNSX") today announced an initiative designed to provide relief from the high costs of maintaining a public listing on other Canadian stock exchanges. Companies applying to switch their listing to CNSX between July 15 and September 30 of this year will receive a 60% discount off of the fees charged to new CNSX applicants. Once listed, these companies will take advantage of the benefits currently enjoyed by CNSX's nearly 200 current listed issues:
The fee reduction brings the price of an initial listing on CNSX down to $5,000. Richard Carleton, CEO, stated "Given the current corporate finance challenges for early stage and established companies, CNSX is offering an incentive to enable more companies to take advantage of our superior exchange model. Companies can spend less money on maintaining their listing, leaving more resources and time to invest in growing their businesses."
