Platinum Group Adds to Board of Directors

(TSX: PTM) (NYSE MKT: PLG) ("Platinum Group" or the "Company") reports that effective today Diana Walters, CEO of Liberty Metals and Mining Holdings, LLC, has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. Liberty Metals and Mining Holdings, LLC is the Company's largest shareholder, owning approximately 19.9% of the issued and outstanding common shares. Ms. Walters has 26 years of experience in natural resources and investment banking and holds a Master's Degree in Energy and Mineral Resources.
