INADEV Appoints Scott Armstrong to Chief Strategy Officer
Former Symantec Executive Joins as Mobile Solutions Provider Experiences Second Consecutive Year of 100 Percent Growth
(firmenpresse) - MCLEAN, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/23/13 -- INADEV, a provider of custom, enterprise-scale mobile solutions, announced today that it has named Scott Armstrong, a federal and enterprise IT industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, as its Chief Strategy Officer.
In his new role, Armstrong will to oversee the company's mobile product strategy. This includes the funding, pricing and all activities related to marketing Taposé, a split screen journal and content creation iOS app, and Mobile Edge, a proprietary app development system. In addition, Armstrong will lead INADEV's strategic partnerships, marketing, acquisitions, and new business operations.

Armstrong joins INADEV during a period of rapid growth. INADEV's revenues have grown 100 percent annually the last two years and the company doubled its office space, moving into a new 5,000 sq. foot office in McLean, Virginia earlier this month.
Prior to joining INADEV, Armstrong led Strategic Initiatives and Programs at Symantec focusing on cybersecurity, mobility,and cloud initiatives for the public sector markets. He came to Symantec after its acquisition of Gideon Technologies, where Armstrong served as Vice President of Marketing and doubled revenues during his tenure. Armstrong has also held executive positions at Secure Elements (acquired by Fortinet), Mercator Software (acquired by Ascential Software), Aether Systems, and UUNET.
Armstrong earned a B.S. in Engineering, Operations Research from Cornell University. He is active in ISACA and the Technology Marketing Alliance.
