The 11th Annual Downtown Aspen Art Festival, produced by Howard Alan Events and hosted by the Aspen Chamber of Commerce returns July 27 - 28, 2013. This two-day juried festival has become Aspen's signature summer art event, attracting locals and tourists alike for the wide variety of artwork on display and for sale. Partial proceeds from the show benefit the Aspen Chamber of Commerce.
"Aspen is an ideal setting for this show," says festival promoter Howard Alan. "Residents and tourists who flock to this destination appreciate quality art and the beauty of the area."
The artists, who will be present for the duration of the show, are juried by an independent panel of judges and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of the artwork is original and handmade in America.
An Art Giveaway will give festival patrons an opportunity to win a photography piece by participating artist Zsuzsanna Luciano.
