4X4 Offroad Network Sponsors Repair Shop for 2013 All-4-Fun Nonprofit Event
(firmenpresse) - FORT COLLINS, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/26/13 -- Since 1991, Fort Collins-based Offroad Network & Used Parts has hosted an offroad repair shop during the annual All-4-Fun offroad event, hosted by the Mile-Hi Jeep Club. MHJC is an active, nonprofit organization that promotes safe and responsible 4-wheeling. This year is no exception as 4X4 will once again be setting up a mobile repair shop during the 2013 event.
"This is an event that my family does every year," said Justin Schleppy, 4X4 co-owner.
All-4-Fun will take place July 28th - August 4th at Lake County, Colorado. The event is a week-long, "4-wheel at your own level" excursion, with up to 15 four-wheel trips happening each day. The Mile-Hi Jeep Club uses this annual event to raise money for Stay the Trail, the Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition and the Children's Hospital burn center. This is the 47th year MHJC has hosted this event.
"My father took over in 1991 when my grandfather shut down his shop. We have done this event for so long that many of the attendants have become good friends," said Schleppy. "There is nothing worse than taking a week from work, only to break your vehicle on the first day. We can get most vehicles back to the trail by the next day."
During the trip, participants will 4-wheel throughout multiple Colorado locations, such as Leadville, Buena Vista, Silverton and Empire. According to the MHJC Web site, "some trips will test your skills as a driver and put your rig through its paces. Other trips can leave you speechless as you view the stunning scenery that the Rocky Mountains give us in our great state."
"We do our best to repair anything that comes our way," Schleppy said. "This includes welding, carburetor work and lots of axle and u-joint repair."
4X4 supplies new and and auto parts and hosts a repair shop at two separate locations in the Northern Colorado area. As a family-oriented business, they continually take an active role in the community, by being members of the Larimer Count Mountaineers, the Colorado Association for 4WD and MHJC.
