Not iPad but ScalePad - Premiere at the EuroShop: Bizerba presents the weighing counter board
(firmenpresse) - Balingen, 25 February 2011 - New parts for the "K-flex", the modular PC till / scales
system: the "KScalePad" weighing counter board – to date unique on the market in this
form. From 26th February, it can be seen at the EuroShop 2011 in Düsseldorf (Hall 6,
booth E56).
Bizerba has developed a weighing counter board that can be embedded into the counter
surface and can even be used in the smallest of spaces. At the same time, it is a work
space for hygienic cutting and has an integrated drain channel. In the future, it will be
particularly used in butchers, delicatessens and bistros, snack bars and bakeries with
limited space.
Paradigm change for food trade: the K-flex principle
All scales and till parts are decoupled from one another. Food retailers can combine the
individual modules to form individual scales and till solutions and incorporate these
seamlessly into the point-of-sale activity. "The system means a change in paradigm for
the food trade. Because it is designed in accordance with open standards and can thus be
extended at any time with software applications from various manufacturers“, says Tudor
Andronic, Director of Global Retail Solutions at Bizerba. This openness is not only clear
in the software, but also in the K-flex hardware system.
