Colin Money is a Senior Site Manager for leading niche house builder, Antler Homes, and he is a very happy man.
For the second consecutive year Colin has won the much coveted NHBC South West Regional Pride in the Job Award this year in the Small Builder category. A three phase process, Colin is now through to the final placings for the ultimate award of Supreme Winner to be announced on 13th September in Bournemouth.
The awards, which have been running for 32 years, are the ultimate accolade for any developer and site manager as they are the only truly independent test and reflection of the quality and craftsmanship of both the individual and the homes they build.
Colin, who has been a site manager for 18 years is married, lives in Bracknell and is naturally delighted by his success. He said: "Being a site manager is an incredibly satisfying job ...... most of the time. My job is one of the ultimate co-ordinator, it is about logistics really. It's all about motivating the contractors on site, ensuring everything runs to time and budget and checking the quality every step of the way during construction to ensure that the work is to the highest standard. I am lucky to work for a great company which prides itself on the excellence of its product and is always striving to do better."
Colin's award this year is for the Antler development in Old Windsor aptly named Queen's Rise. With amazing views across to Windsor Castle, Queen's Rise is a stunning development of just six substantial detached homes.
