Technology Group demonstrates its know-how and products for use in the semiconductor and electronics industries
Heraeus at the Semicon in Shanghai(firmenpresse) -
From March 15th to 17th, 2011 Heraeus will be represented at the Semicon in Shanghai by its daughter companies Heraeus Zhaoyuan Changshu Electronic Materials Co. Ltd. and Heraeus Materials Technology Shanghai Ltd. The Precious Metal and Technology Group will demonstrate its know-how as well as its products encompassing materials for the semiconductor, electronics and electrical industries.
The exhibitors at the Semicon come from all sorts of fields, including telecommunications, informatics, data communication, electronic components and further related business areas.
Heraeus produces various bonding wires which are used to bond the connection pad of the semiconductor component to the system carrier. The basic materials needed to make these fine and ultrafine wires include gold, copper and aluminium. The bonding wire business unit has over the years systematically established a leading position for itself in the global market for bonding wires, and is meanwhile a symbol for products of the highest possible quality and process stability. A total of 5 Asian production sites enable Heraeus to produce locally and customer oriented for very differing sectors of industry.
With a similar background of long-standing experience in the manufacturing of soldering pastes Heraeus has developed special solutions with unique properties. The Group will be presenting its "green" top range products in the form of lead-free soldering pastes capable of increasing both reliability and operating temperatures.
