London, 7th August 2013. Tangibal Group Plc is pleased to announce that its investment of €400,000 through Tangibal Films (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tangibal Group) into the movie “The Devils Violinist” starring the German Violin virtuoso David Garrett, and TV star Veronica Ferres as well as the international cast of Jared Harris and Joely Richardson has now completed production and will premiere in Germany and Austria on 31st October 2013.
Tangibal Films and Dominic Berger, a filmmaker and producer, is Executive Producer on the Movie.
The film is about the violinist Paganini and is filmed beautifully with a virtuoso performance by David Garrett who plays the title role.
The movie has been sold now also successfully by Tangibal Films to Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia, South Korea and Japan. These sales have generated over €650,000 in revenue which means that Tangibal Films is well on the way to recouping its investment plus interest of 10% per annum with the further possibility of receiving profits after recoupment generated by the movie.
Dominic Berger, director Tangibal Films, commented “We are very pleased with our initial investment in the Movie business and in particular we are very optimistic about the global potential of our first movie. We believe that the film will do well internationally and could deliver significant returns to the Group.”
Furthermore the Group is pleased to announce that its unaudited turnover for Quarter 2 was €200,000 and in the quarter the Group generated a profit of €156,000 due to an exceptional item allowance of €164,000 for the disposal of Ridercam Systems Ltd.
