(PresseBox) - RF-iT Solutions GmbH welcomed numerous visitors and international guests at EuroShop 2011, with over 106,000 visitors it was one of the most successful trade fairs for the retail sector.
At its own detego® booth and at numerous partner booths, RF-iT Solutions demonstrated how existing IT systems can be enabled for RFID by using the detego® RFID solution modules!
Higher transparency, efficiency and safety in retail management
The main topics were the possible uses of RFID technology for an efficient inventory management and for product security. "The detego® solution module EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) provides protection against shoplifters and inventory differences, and also guarantees a complete inventory visibility across the store, " said Tom Vieweger, Key Account Manager of RF-iT Solutions GmbH, adding: "By using this solution the retailer now knows exactly which goods are missing and can cause a subsequent replenishment. Out of stock situations are a thing of the past. The customer finds what he is looking for!"
Special interest was also focused in a seamless integration of RFID components into existing IT systems. The aim is to provide hardware-independent RFID solutions to the user.
