LaBovick Law Group Announces New Attorney Hires
(firmenpresse) - PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 08/08/13 -- LaBovick Law Group is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to the firm, Lyem Pina and Elizabeth Gormley. Both attorneys will be based in LaBovick Law Group's Palm Beach Gardens office.
Lyem Pina began with the firm's Personal Injury Protection Insurance Collections Department in May as an associate attorney. She was born in Camaguey, Cuba, and her family immigrated to the United States when she was just 9 years old. "We lived in Mobile, Ala., where at a young age I began getting involved in the community by serving as interpreter/translator for the growing Hispanic community."
She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and remains family-oriented and involved in the Palm Beach Hispanic community. Ms. Pina was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012 after graduating from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Fla. In law school, she was on the Dean's List, won the Pro Bono Honors Award, and was a member of both the Family Law Society and Women Law Students Association. She has prior experience in both personal injury law and workers' compensation.
Elizabeth Gormley joined LaBovick Law Group in August as the new lead Social Security disability and Veterans Affairs attorney. After graduating from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine, she was admitted to the Maine Bar in 2011 and then to the Florida Bar in 2012. While in law school, she was on the Dean's List and Honor Roll. Prior to joining LaBovick Law Group, Ms. Gormely worked as a Social Security disability attorney in Maine and then as a hearing specialist and brief writing supervisor with Freedom Disability in Miami, Fla.
