Berner&Mattner's Trainee Program
(PresseBox) - The engineering service provider Berner & Mattner has established a new trainee program in order to find and support committed young engineers who are interested in developing a wide range of competences at a technologically advanced level within a short period of time. Over a period of 24 months young professionals will gain insight into all sectors of the company that are relevant for their future area of responsibility. Berner & Mattner is a partner of the automotive, aerospace, railway and industrial automation industries and as such responsible for complex development and test projects.
"For a specialist in the field of embedded software and electronic systems like ourselves employees with just the right blend of professional competence, interdisciplinary thinking and strong communication skills is one of the most crucial factors of our success", explains Anja Ranft, Human Resources Manager at Berner & Mattner. "Thus we have decided to enhance these particular skills of young professionals by means of a trainee program."
Depending on the focus of the individually coordinated education plan for young professionals, the trainee period is divided into several blocks and carried out at various subsidiaries with different core competences. The trainees receive intensive training on various responsibilities. The practical part is supplemented by training and workshops to enhance both their personal and professional development. Focal points of the trainee program might be development in automatic control engineering, operation of modern hardware-in-the-loop testing systems or systems engineering. Marketing and sales activities as well as project management and communication training are also part of the program. During the entire program the trainee will receive intensive coaching from his/her respective manager. In addition, the trainee's career will be supported by a "mentor" from the management board. Recent graduates or engineers with early work experience should have graduated in the fields of informatics, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
