Independence Appoints New CFO

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/15/13 -- Independence Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: IGO) (the "Company") and its board of directors wish to announce that Ms Susan Neale, CGA has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company to replace Mr. J. Christopher Mitchell who recently retired.

Ms Neale is a chartered accountant with over 20 years experience in corporate transactions, public markets and in-depth accounting and auditing, working with mineral exploration, development and operating companies in Canada and throughout the world.
