The 16th Annual Shadyside...The Art Festival on Walnut Street produced by Howard Alan Events and hosted by the Shadyside Chamber of Commerce is slated for August 24 - 25, 2013. This two-day juried festival has become Pittsburgh's signature summer art event.
"We are a national touring company based in South Florida and produce many top ranked juried art festivals throughout the United States," says show promoter Howard Alan. "Art enthusiasts who come to our highly anticipated shows in Florida are eager to attend festivals in their hometowns too."
An art giveaway will give festival patrons an opportunity to win original artwork by participating artist Julie Keaton-Reed. "Green Floral" is a framed 18" x 22" sumi ink on watercolor paper valued at $395. Additional information and images of Julie's work can be found on her website, .
