Nino Properties to Join GETI Alliance's Veteran Project
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/13 -- Nino Properties, a leading provider of home finding services and , announced that the company has partnered with the Global Energy Technology Institute (GETI). GETI is a National Veterans Advocacy group, providing more effective means to relocate active military personnel and unemployed skilled tradesmen to the greater Houston metropolitan area.
GETI and its alliance partners, which includes Houston Oil and Gas industries, Nino Properties, Trane Inc., Capstone, Eaton, Houston Gulf Coast Building and Construction Trades Council and Don McGill Toyota have come together to formulate four mission objectives:
1. Develop Veteran Housing on major universities and college campuses nationwide
2. Provide Veteran assessment, counseling, skill set certification and job placement services on designated U.S. military bases
3. Provide permanent housing solutions
4. Offer Veteran vehicle facilitation programs
These objectives formulate turnkey solutions that would provide the necessary structured pathways whose net results produce a more measureable successful transition to civilian careers for the 1.2 million military personnel that are being released; as well as, any displaced skilled tradesmen who desires meaningful career opportunities that the Houston Oil and Gas and Port related industries require to support their estimated 600,000 position openings.
Nino Properties and representatives of the GETI Alliance have initiated an action plan to meet with Houston's Directors of Planning and Development to discuss a course of action that will assist in publicizing the organization's joint efforts to generate public demand and awareness of this project.
