Following the tremendous success in the United States with the previous
launches in New York City, Miami and Baltimore, Blacklane is now setting
off in Las Vegas and Orlando. Blacklane offers a new alternative in daily
transportation needs, offering airport transfers, transportation to and
from meetings and important client appointments.
'We said that we go where our customers go. And we really mean it.' states
Dr. Jens Wohltorf, co-founder of Blacklane, adding, 'We are on the way to
becoming the number one international companion for their entire journey.'
Given that the United States is a major destination for travelers from all
over the world, expanding the limousine and chauffeur service further in
the States' biggest and most important cities was inevitable. 'Not a week
passes without customers encouraging us to reach out to their most-visited
destinations, and we are aiming to become available in a lot more cities in
the States,' Wohltorf says.
In many ways, Las Vegas is a unique city: situated in the Mojave Desert,
with an economy built on a thriving entertainment industry, the city is a
melting pot of cultures, welcoming people from all over the world every
day.
Not only is Orlando home to Disney World, it also houses one of the busiest
research parks in the U.S. - no wonder the city is known as a high tech
center across the world. As you can imagine, it's a busy destination for
tourists. When traveling to Las Vegas or Orlando, what could be better than
being greeted by a private chauffeur, right at the arrival gate?
Blacklane is now available in 10 cities in the United States: Chicago, New
York City, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles,
Baltimore, Las Vegas and Orlando. 'And there is no end in sight.' Frank
Steuer, also co-founder, states.
Having received overwhelmingly positive feedback wherever it launches,
Blacklane is firmly establishing itself as one of the leading international
players in the limousine service industry. 'Local providers welcome us
wherever we show up, knowing that we'll add to their revenue instead of
diminishing it.'
Bookings can be made around the clock, online, or with the company's
smartphone app. After specifying their pick-up location and booking period
or desired destination, customers can choose from one of three classes of
vehicles (Business Class, Business Van /SUV, First Class) at a binding
fixed price including all taxes and fees. Cars can be booked up to fifteen
minutes before the customer's required pick-up time.
After booking, customers receive a confirmation of their order as well as
their chauffeur's contact details. Payments can be made by credit or debit
card and, for companies, can be billed on a monthly basis. All customer
invoices can easily be downloaded from their MyBlacklane account.
Blacklane limousines can now be booked in 18 countries: Austria, Belgium,
China (incl. Hong Kong and Macau), Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark,
France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain,
Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S.
