(firmenpresse) - LONGUEUIL, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/21/13 -- Reunion Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE: RGD) (the "Company") announces that it has filed on SEDAR () a NI 43-101 technical report supporting the mineral reserves estimate and results of the pre-feasibility study ("PFS") for its Matthews Ridge Manganese Project announced on July 12, 2013. The technical report was prepared under the supervision of G Mining Services Inc., a Canadian-based firm providing mining consulting services to mining companies worldwide.

Reunion Gold Corporation, through its 100% owned subsidiary Reunion Manganese Inc., has assembled a large, strategic land position to conduct exploration and development activities for manganese in the North West District of Guyana. Manganese is the fourth largest metal consumed in the world, behind iron, aluminum and copper. It is a key component in steel and iron production with no viable substitute.
