Papercheck Purchases New Headquarters Building in San Francisco
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/22/13 -- Papercheck, LLC, an and services company, announced today that, in order to accommodate its growth and expansion plans, it has purchased a two-story building in the South of Market area of San Francisco to serve as its new headquarters.
The new 3,200-square-foot office building, located at 666 Natoma Street, is almost triple the size of the company's former leased space on . The increased capacity of the facility will allow to expand its staff and its offerings. The space will house offices, conference rooms, and other amenities.
"This is a significant milestone for Papercheck. We moved to San Francisco 6 years ago and are thrilled to have found a building that meets all of our needs," said Darren Shafae, founder and vice president of Papercheck.
"Significant growth and expansion plans have resulted in our need for larger space," added Shafae. "We decided to take advantage of the passage of Proposition E, which changes the San Francisco payroll tax into a tax on gross receipts for businesses, to hire full-time, onsite editors rather than continue working with independent contractors. This will allow us to increase the quality of our work to continue to deliver best-in-class and proofreading services to customers worldwide."
Papercheck has already added 14 new in-house editors during the past few months, with plans to expand. Papercheck currently employs 22 professional editors, customer support representatives, and web developers.
The new building has a backyard, parking (limited), and easy access via public transit. The move to the new space was completed last month.
Papercheck, LLC is a San Francisco-based company that offers essay editing and proofreading services in addition to innovative services such as and . Established in 2001, Papercheck, LLC provides students instant access to editors -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
