Golden Gate University Law and Tax Schools Make Top 10 in Survey
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/04/13 -- Two graduate programs have been named Best Tax Programs in a nationwide survey by Tax Talent -- with GGU's Braden School of Taxation topping one list.
The Braden School's program ranked first (tied with DePaul University) out of 63 schools in the second annual survey ranking the highest-regarded college taxation programs, based on the responses of 128 heads of corporate tax departments nationwide.
In a similar survey, GGU's School of Law also was recognized. Tax hiring authorities ranked GGU's 10th out of 31 programs nationwide.
"These national survey results underscore the hard work our schools of Law and Taxation have done to create excellent master's degree programs that give our students the tools they need to become leaders," said Golden Gate University President Dan Angel.
GGU's School of Taxation recently kicked off its second annual Braden Business Leadership Speaker Series, which features renowned thought leaders including former legislators Willie Brown and Fiona Ma. The lunchtime series is free and open to the public.
